Say what you will about who Jean resembles, but here's a photo of Louis at a month old, next to one of Jean from today.

Grandpa Bill Comes to Visit

Louis had lots of fun helping Daddy & Grandpa Bill take a fan fixture out of the kitchen ceiling. He even got to climb the ladder! He spent a few mornings with Grandpa as well while Mom & Dad got to sleep in a little bit (amen!) 

Jean made herself right at home on Grandpa's lap and took a nap.

Jean & Louis

Today Jean went for her 1 month check-up. She is in the 98th percentile for everything (height, weight, & head circumference). She weights 12 lbs 13oz (almost 13lbs, whoa!) and is 22.5" long. She is doing well.

You can check Louis out in the cool Elmo hat that Mimi got him, he loves it!

Now if she would just do this in the middle of the night we'd be all set. But nooooooo, where's the fun in that?

It's Hot

So we're staying inside. Louis is playing with his "new" toolbench that I found on craigslist, and Jean is working hard at eating and sleeping and growing. Andy and I are just trying to keep up.
