That's what Louis has. Right now his fever  has gone down and he has the rash that signals he is close to being better.

No Ordinary Bath

Louis is doing a bit better. He started getting a fever again this afternoon, but he is in a pretty good mood for a sick baby. Today we got the house cleaned (by a service!) Thank god. The bathroom was grossing me out and it's become fairly evident that neither Andy nor myself is going to get around to deep cleaning certain areas of the house. Keeping up on the sweeping, dishes, laundry, food, and putting away of stuff is a struggle in itself, so we've outsourced the serious tasks.
Anyways, as I was doing the dishes in our very clean kitchen I could hear Andy giving Louis a bath. They were both laughing hysterically. I had to see what was going on so I grabbed the camera and went upstairs. That's where this video picks up.

Tongues

Last night was rough. Andy worked until 1am, Louis woke up at 4:30am with a raging fever, so we gave him some ibuprofen, put him in a lukewarm bath, and I nursed and rocked him on and off until he woke up for good at 9am, at which point it was time for Andy to go back to work. I called Grandma and she came over so that I could go back to bed for a little bit (thank god).
Louis is in good spirits, but still feels pretty warm. He's not one to sit still to get his temperature taken, so I figure as long as he is drinking water, breast milk, and sucking on fruit pops and eating well we're probably doing alright.
