New Floor

The flooring guys just left 5 minutes ago. Here is the first look at the new floor.

Quick Nap

Today the new floor in the kitchen gets installed. They showed up before we left for work & started banging around, making lots of noise. Louis walked straight over to his toolbox, grabbed his hammer and started hammering the rolled up Marmoleum that was sitting In our living room. What a helper!

So Far...

This is my favorite feature of the kitchen. I haven't been cooking because there's still so much work being done, but I am thrilled with the undercounter water filter. I may have other favorites later ( like the increase in counter space or the dishwasher that doesn't sound like a freight train) but for now this filter is AWESOME.
