Baseball

Louis at his 3rd baseball game this summer. We go to see the Bowie Baysox minor league team. It's much easier to get close & see what's going on. Lou gives his undivided attention and studies the players.

I used to think Lous first word would be, "shit" given how often he heard it. Fortunately that didn't happen. I am however thinking that his first phrase could potentially be, "hold on jean" since I feel like I say that about 56,794 times a day.
Here is a photo of Lou watching the guys mow the lawn & weedwack. He watches them for as long as they are here, godbless 'em. $30 for yardwork AND babysitting, what a deal.

Jean's 2 Month Check-Up

Jean went to the Dr. today. She is doing very well. She weighed in at 15lbs and 12 oz. Almost 16 lbs!! She's also 24 inches long, which puts her in the 95th percentile for height, (she's 98th percentile for weight). Her head circumference isn't too shabby either. I think she drops down to the 90th percentile for that one.
The pediatrician said she was VERY alert and joked about how Jean thinks she is older than she really is because she is so big.
She received her first vaccination, and I also received a Tdap, and now my arm really hurts. I can only imagine how her poor little leg feels.

She enjoyed her bath this evening with Louis & Mommy, and she went to sleep at 7:30, SHIT YEAH!!! Thank you baby Jean!

Morning with Lou

At the Park

This is a great example of how Louis will check back with Jean while we are out. He comes over, gives her a pat and a kiss, and moves along. Very sweet.
