We went for a picnic and stumbled upon the youth garden and learning center. Lots of great plants and things for kids to play with. Definitely an unexpected and great find! Can't wait to go back.

Louis at the Helm

Today, Louis took me to Pierce Mill, which is an old mill located in Rock Creek Park. There is a jogging/bicycle trail, loads of picnic benches and a big grassy field that Lou enjoyed running around in. He met a dog named Scout, that was very friendly too. After much debate as to what tape cassette to listen to, we headed home and ate tuna fish sandwiches. Did I mention he is driving now?

Young Petworth Man Finds Hat

After a week spent looking for his sun hat, Louis W. M. Gale finally found it hidden deep in the crevices of his stroller. "I have been looking all over for this!", he said. "My mom and dad misplace my stuff all the time. I was about to blame this whole thing on them. Being caught in the stroller though, this was definitely my bad." The youth did note that he is still on the lookout for an extremely elusive remote control.
