Meet the New (Toddler) Louis

 

This is pretty tame compared to some episodes he's been having. He seems to throw the biggest fits when we are changing the poopiest diapers, deciding to roll over, and try to throw himself off the changing table. He will not get dressed either. This wouldn't be a problem in July, but in January it's just not an option to go naked. Andy took him in for his check-up yesterday at the pediatrician's office. Everything seems great, he's right on target, and is in the 50th percentile for weight, and the 75th percentile for height.

Louis & the Bouncy Ball

Tonight Louis peed on the floor in his room and proceeded to spread it all over with his hands. As I tried to explain why he should stop he discovered a new thing to do with pee on the floor, which was to treat it like a slip & slide. I'm not sure if I was more horrified by the entertainment he found in running & sliding in his own pee while laughing, or that he thought it was even funnier when he would slide into the splits. Ouch! Didn't seem to bother him though. Needless to say there was a bath immediately following the festivities.

to my Grandpa and Grandma Gale for the hospitality last weekend, when Louis and I paid a visit to Anderson, Indiana. We even got to see the spot where Great Grandpa Gale grew up on 18 acres of farmland. Here is one last picture that I took at one of Louis' favorite spots, the typewriter.
